One of the benefits is that a good CTI product can search your database and provide this integration. This integration appears to be even better than it was as little as 5 years
ago with a number of additional search functions becoming available.
Some systems now even do a Google search and will bring up the website of the contacts on the phone if nothing else can be found internally.
When looking for a system you need to be sure that the vendor can provide the following key items:
- Seamless interface to your database
- Capability to manage the connections both in and out of the office.
- Recording and Reporting capability to assist you to lift you and your teams productivity.

With each vendor you will find there are many options available and you will need to see how they fit into your
business plans over the coming years rather then just the features that may look fantastic on the surface.
